Jake was one of only 30 athletes from Arkansas to attend the tournament and out of those 30, only 3 made it to the finals. Jake competed in a total of 5 matches and lost the final match with a wrestler from Wisconsin.

Cabot Junior Jake Long finished the season with placing runner-up at conference and 4th overall the 6A State Tournament for his weight class. Jake is also an All-American Wrestler.
